Eilis walked through the forest, hoping to find a place to stay before night came. As the sun set, she felt the cold of night take over her body. She finally came across a cave, and sighed with relief.
There was still enough light to see a few feet into the cave. She quickly gathered wood and began a fire. She took a piece of wood and wrapped cloth around it in order to use it as a torch. She began wandering deeper into the cave, just to make sure there was no danger. As she kept walking, she realized the cave went much farther than she had ever expected it. Suddenly, she felt water soak into her shoe. She had come across a small stream of fresh water. Suddenly, she sensed a presence. She quickly sat against the wall, with a boulder to her right, and dipped her torch into the water.
